Is this reel nonsense? Absolutely 💯
I wanted to share why I'm trying to do what I am.
Real talk, I've always been a bigger person. I recall referring to myself as pleasantly plump from as early as 7 years old. I've struggled my whole life to find clothing that I feel good in and that fits my body.
More so in recent years with the changes in motherhood. I've found myself absolutely gutted In the plus size section at the thrift store, if they even had one. Just staring at maybe 3 items ? All of them looking like they came from grandma's closet in the 80's.
Through that, Ample Attic Co was born. The goal is simple. An affordable second hand option for the plus size girlie that is both cute but good for the planet. Knowing we already have enough textiles for the next 6 generations, I'm a strong believer of using what we have.
