New Saturday morning ritual 🤩 Finally picked up oil pastels again after a while!!! I wanted to do a pink Jupiter with some purples… turned out more purple than I wanted but they are always happy accidents 😆

Love doing space art 🫣 havent finished this one but will at some point this weekend

Another one in making… back to Aurora/Northern Lights… at this point I am moving between Moon, Saturn and Northern Lights 🙃 with oil pastels… so much learnings! Love making space art 🥹

Since I cannot do fluid art in my backyard and I want to enjoy the ONLY few weeks of summer we get…. I am exploring oil pastels 🫣 this is my second set… did not really like the first one I got 🙃

Oil pastels have steep learning curve when it comes to HOW much pastels to use 🫣 and how to blend…. but I think I am getting better at it now as I practice more!!!

Ignore the bottom… I gave up LOL but I learned the black I have is not forgiving at all so I need to do better coloring splitting from the get go!

Lots of learnings and little progress but liking oil pastels more than soft pastels… and yes I still don’t have a blender tool… using Q-tips (Cotton Swabs) so far 🤭
