So what is the goal?
Delivering the products I've dedicated years to designing and crafting to those who can truly benefit from them. These include mental health books, affirmation cards, memory books for seniors, coloring books, and a variety of delightful items like stickers and pins that you might find relatable. Each piece is created with care and intention, aiming to bring joy, comfort, and a sense of connection to those who use them. These same real life stories and experiences written in my blog, discussions on mental health, self love (obviously) grief and parenting. Creating a community of people who feel safe, comfortable and seen. Each of these products and stories is crafted with the intention of offering support, inspiration, and a sense of belonging. By creating a space where people can connect over shared experiences and challenges, I hope to empower others to embrace their journeys with compassion and resilience.
What’s the ultimate aim and strategy behind all this? The primary goal is to establish a physical space, a community hub and children's play center. A place that serves as a beacon of inspiration and support. This space will be designed to foster creativity, connection, and personal development. In tribute to my late grandmother, Margaret Rose, we will create Margaret's Village. A portion of every purchase made through The Self Love Shop, along with any kind donations, will contribute to the development of this new community hub and play center. In her spirit, we aspire to be the 'village' for those do not have one.
