Today we experienced a slight technical delay, sorry about that! Better late than never!
Today's featured FO is from our own Heather. Heather loves to knit socks and here is a pair she recently finished. She knit a pair of socks with tweed sock yarn and the heels, toes and stripes are white. She was surprised to find that she needed smaller needles than her "go-to" regular 2mm ones to knit the white yarn densely enough to her liking. A 1.5mm needle did the trick. The inspiration came from Jenn, from Cape Breton Island, and Heather made it her own. While knitting the cuff stripes and switching colours, she knit the first row all the way around and then continued with the 2X2 ribbing. The extra knit row prevented purl bumps of the opposite colour showing on the right side, and gives a more polished look. Way to go, Heather!

Today we are back with Patti-Ann for our featured WIP. This is another square from Norah's Vintage Afghan - Square 9. Very beautiful construction on this traditional cable pattern. Each square is a totally different pattern. No duplicates in the finished throw and all squares are cabled in one way or another.
I can't wait to see all of them once blocked and assembled.

Last week, as a WIP, we featured the start of Abby's vacation sock that she started in Greece. Well, here is sock #1 finished in all of its glory! Love the stitch definition and textures. Beautiful job. The pattern is from Stephen West and is called Dustland Socks. The yarn is colourway "Kermit" from Fergus Yarn Co.

The WIP for today is "Whisky Sour by Maxim Cyr".
This was knit in Berroco Remix Light col. 6901, Birch. Our own Abby made size 2, which ended up using exactly 2 balls of Remix Light. She started this project in summer of 2025, but when she was supposed to put the sleeves on hold and start the body, the arm holes were looking very small. Turns out her gauge was too tight :(
The project was put aside and she revisited it at the beginning of this year. The entire sweater was "frogged" (ripped the whole thing out) and re-knit on a larger needle. Now, Abby is really pleased with how it is turning out.
