Here we have a beautiful 2012 Gibson Memphis ES-335 Dot in Cherry, featuring a stunning AAA figured flame maple top, back, and sides. The deep Cherry finish really brings out the figuring, and the posted photos don't quite do it justice.
This guitar has had one previous owner and comes complete with its original Gibson black hard-shell case, Gibson Memphis factory COA, and all original Gibson factory parts.
The guitar was a daily player for its previous owner and has seen plenty of use over the years, but remarkably, there are no significant signs of play wear, chips, dents, or scratches throughout the body.
Please note: The headstock had a small break that was professionally repaired several years ago. The repair is very well done, solid, and has stood the test of time, but it remains visible on the back of the neck and can be seen in the posted photo. Aside from this repair, the instrument is in near-mint cosmetic condition.
The guitar features original Gibson ’57 Classic humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions, original large kidney-style Grover sealed-gear tuners, and a Gibson Tune-O-Matic bridge. The slim-taper D-shaped mahogany neck has a bone nut, 12" fretboard radius, and abalone dot inlays.
Freshly restrung and fully set up with D’Addario NYXL 10-46 strings.
