What a treat to start the day with a 322 year old masterpiece of Cremonese violin making on the bench!

Someone pinch me - I'm in luthier heaven!!
Should I choose to work on the 1689 Baumgartner Stradivarius, or the 1700 Taft Stradivarius... or maybe the 1729 Guarneri del Gesù violin?
I decided to start with an old friend: the 1869 J.B. Vuillaume violin that I restored back in 2009 when it was first donated to the Canada Council Musical Instrument Bank.
