The first D&D Mix & Mingle was such a hit that we’re doing another! On Saturday October 10th head to Anderson Craft Ales and get ready to mix, mingle, and roll some dice!

Have you been wanting to play Dungeons & Dragons but don’t know anyone else who does? Well, this event is for you! No previous D&D experience needed and all materials will be provided. Hope to see you there!

Thankfully Dan Brown lived through the 1970s so you don’t have to, kids!

In this week's pop culture column Dan revisits the spaceships, aliens, robots and strange new worlds of 1970s science-fiction art through the book Worlds Beyond Time: Sci-Fi Art of the 1970s.

These imaginative paintings once appeared on the covers of books by authors such as Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Anne McCaffrey and Michael Moorcock. They also helped shape the look of the science fiction that followed, including Star Wars.

Discover a time when artists created lively visions of the future using paint, imagination and absolutely no help from AI.

This Saturday we’re hosting a D&D Mix & Mingle at Anderson Craft Ales! Have you been wanting to play D&D but don’t know anyone else who does? This is your opportunity to meet others just like you.
