Hey folks, it is that time of year!!! CRAB FEST is here and we are back to enjoying TWO nights of fun. Come on out and support an amazing community run event!!

+ Guess what? There is a merch table and Kelp House created the first ever Crab Fest soy candles, but don't worry -> They don't smell like crab lol.

@topfans our Christmas in July event is cancelled!!

Sorry folks, Sadie and I have been busy prepping for her return in mid August and for that reason our last day open (until mid August) is today, we are open 3-6pm :)

*No Christmas in July, but we would LOVE to have you pop by.*

Order pickups: We have several orders awaiting pickup, please check your email. Sadie will be reaching out to arrange pickup dates.

Hi everyone!! A quick update on Kelp House hours as Sadie moves into the new ownership role 🤍🕯️

We will be closed the remainder of July, but OPEN this Saturday July 25th from 3-6pm!!

Sadie will be busy for the rest of the month as she’s getting married 💍 She plans to reopen the retail shop mid August.

If you’d like to come by and shop local on Saturday we would LOVE to see you 🙂

I poured my last candle 🤍🕯️ Folks, I’m handing over the reins to a brand new owner!!

Her name is Sadie and she’s been with us since the start, I can’t wait to see what she’ll do with Kelp House and I know she’ll do the greatest things, continuing to support the brand & lift up the community of Louisbourg.

I left my career at Shopify to open my own business and it’s been an incredible ride. Want to know what I loved most? I loved the people I got to work with and learn from, the connections made and our incredible customers and community. Love you guys!

You’ll still find me in beautiful Louisbourg with my family, feel free to follow me on my personal page I’ll be busy being a mum, wife and member of this lovely town. I look forward to spending my time with my family and little Marina 🤍 Thank you all for your support of the years.

Local shoutout!!!! To the Louisbourg General Store AKA the best spot to get ice cream! 🍦

Bobby at the Louisbourg General Store was very generous and provided us some free ice cream tickets in the past, for a community event we were promoting. He wouldn’t let me pay for them and I promised to make them some candles sometime in return.

Today I returned the favor 🍦Just dropped off a box of Cotton Candy Ice Cream candles at our fav ice cream spot in town, The Louisbourg General Store. I hope you all visit next time you are in the area and be sure to smell their new candles, they are the cutest! 💖
