As the leaves begin to fall and we settle into the cooler days of autumn, we want to send a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our amazing customers for making the 2026 season so special! 💚🤎💜

Our physical location is now closed for the 2026 season, but we’ll be back and ready to bloom again on April 1st, 2027! 🌸🌱

🌿 Only 2 left! Blackhawks Big Bluestem 🌿
If you’re looking for a grass that makes a statement, Blackhawks Big Bluestem is one to see! 🖤💜

This stunning warm-season perennial starts out deep green, develops rich purple tones through the summer, and turns a dramatic deep purple to almost black in fall.
Its distinctive late-summer “turkey foot” seed heads add even more interest and texture. 🍂

☀️ Light: Full sun
🌱 Soil: Average, dry to medium moisture and well-drained soil. It’s adaptable, but overly rich or wet soil can encourage flopping.
❄️ Hardiness: Zones 3–9 — a great choice for Ontario gardens!
🍁 Fall colour: Deep purple, burgundy and nearly black
📏 Size: Approximately 5’ tall × 2’ wide
