Leather tells a story.
It tells the story of a life lived, the conditions that were faced and the care that was taken. This bull had seen a whole lot of life, I picture it living in some thorny brush country and rocky terrain, moving every few days to get to more vegetation. The cowboys that would move those bulls and cows would work long hours in the saddle. Their life wouldn't be a 9-5, heck it wouldn't even be a Monday to Friday. It would just be life and they'd be more than content with that, they'd be at peace knowing they're living a life worth living.
See, it's not just moving cows and branding pens, it's taking care of a life so it can take care of you and your family one day. Many, many other families, too, for that matter.
Their meat and bones will nourish our bodies, their hides will clothe us. There's not much of a cow that goes to waste, and for that I'm thankful.
They feed us, this great country, and most importantly they feed our soul.
