Missed the frog glazing event? Here's your next chance to get creative!

Join me at Peace River Brewing on Thursday, August 20th for an evening of pottery painting, great company, a refreshing beverage and great eats.

This time, you'll get to choose from 4 different mug styles to create your very own one-of-a-kind mug. Whether you love bright, bold colours or something simple and timeless, you'll have plenty of glaze options to make it uniquely yours.

✨ No experience needed.
✨ All supplies and instruction are included.
✨ Your mug will be kiln-fired after the event and will be ready for pickup at PRB once it's finished.

🐸✨ Now that everyone has had a chance to pick up their frogs today at Peace River Brewing, I can finally share some photos from Monday's kiln unload.

The creativity in this group!!! Every frog came out unique and full of personality. I was so excited opening the kiln and seeing all of your creations come to life.

Thank you to everyone who joined in on the fun and made this event such a success. I hope you love your frogs as much as I loved seeing them come together! 💚

The kiln is still too hot to open, but these little frogs are already peeking through the crack, eager to make their debut!

🐸 This photo shows the three stages of one of my frog scrubby holders and how much clay shrinks along the way! 🐸

✨ Left: Freshly unmolded wet clay (greenware)
✨ Center: Fired once (bisqueware), ready for glazing
✨ Right: Fully glazed and fired, the finished frog

From start to finish, these little frogs shrink by approximately 7% as the water evaporates and the clay shrinks further during firing.
