Iā€™ve always been an interior design geek. These big lamp bases are part of my exploration into medium and large home goods. Itā€™s incredibly fulfilling to explore new techniques with my partner, and tailor make something just for us. Iā€™m still riding out my creativity cleanse, and honestly, Iā€™m doing everything I can to avoid working at the wheel these days since Iā€™ve been associating throwing with production work. My bank account is practically screaming at me to reopen wholesale, but Iā€™d rather be broke than dive back into repetitive throwing. Right now, my main focus is on bringing to life those pieces that have been sitting on my to-make list forever, without the pressure of turning them into money-makers right away.
