Lash manners are a thing! ✨
For a smooth sailing appointment, follow these lash etiquettes to allow your lash artist to do their thang. I personally prefer to lash with no distractions and no interruptions as I am in the zone of lashing. It helps with faster timing and the outcome of beautiful lashes at the end! 🥰
✨Tip 1: always come in bare faced meaning no makeup and no oily skin care. It makes sure the eye pad and tape stick to your skin and not move around. Coming in with makeup also takes up actual lashing time because I’ll have to wipe off all the makeup and do a lash bath! So follow these lash etiquettes to make your lash tech happy 😊
💦Tip 2: Always come freshly showered before your lash appointment so that you won’t have to shower after getting your lashes done! Lash extensions need at least 24-48 hours to fully dry for the glue to cure so you will need to avoid getting them wet. *side note* I am hovering over your head for 1-2 hours therefore having good hygiene is respectful to your lash artist😇
⏰Tip 3: A lash appointment takes approximately 1-2.5 hours depending on the set you are getting. Please make sure you have that time available as I cannot rush my work. 🙏🏽
💤Tip 4: Try not to move around too much. It is difficult to place each eyelash if you are constantly moving. Don’t be shy to let me know if you have an itch, need to sneeze, need to move positions etc I will happily pause my work to allow you to be comfortable. But please avoid touching your mask, looking at your phone, or talking too much as it moves the eye pads and tape around and exposes your eyes to the glue fumes causing red eyes. A lash appointment is your chance to relax and squeeze in a beauty nap 💤
