1910: Meaford Hall had recently been completed. The Royal Hotel and its stables occupied the land where TD and RBA stand today. The last of the working horses shared the road with the first cars and trucks. Go see the models at GUM Gallery 46 Sykes St. N. in Meaford!

OPEN CALL for digital works:
GUM Gallery (gumgallery.ca, [email protected])

Theme: Anthropomorphism.

We are inviting artists, photographers, and video makers to contribute image and video works for an exhibition. Selected works will appear in the gallery monitor for a 6 week show duration as well as in an exhibition book.

We are looking for work that is conceptual and/or experimental. Still images, moving image, fragments, or loops welcome. This is a curatorial conversation, not a traditional submission competition.

SUBMIT Up to 3 images or 2 short videos.

We’re taking over the Coworking Corner at 278 Cook Street (@ Lombard) in Meaford and transforming it into a lively space filled with original artwork, handmade goods, and creative energy.

This special event is co-presented by GUM Gallery & Meaford Theatre Company and is sponsored by The Coworking Corner (thank you!).
