Remember When Candies and Toys and Engaging Minds for Learning

For Earl and Sandi, Remember When Toys, Candy, & More started as a dream during the Christmas handcrafted markets. Earl was making wooden toys and selling them at the markets for over 20 years.

They always discussed their dream of opening a toy store when it came time to retire, however, when Sandi was let go from her job, they quickly jumped at the idea of making their dream a reality. This is how Remember When Toys, Candy, & More came to be.

They have something for everyone, walking into the store is like taking a trip down memory lane. From old-fashioned candy sticks and Astro Pops, to marbles and handheld pinball toys. There is so much to discover.

They also take great pride in their homemade foods selection. They make a wide variety of items typically only found at a fair or a carnival, but they make them available every day! They make their own cotton candy, mini donuts, popcorn, baked goods and more. They are particularly proud of the many flavours these items are available in. From traditional to completely unique, each flavour is something well-thought-out and delicious.

On the Engaging Minds side, it's all about learning. But in a fun and engaging way. You can get everything from African Clawed Tadpoles, Butterfly eggs, butterfly larvae, harvester ants, and even a praying mantis egg sac, and these are just some living science choices in a vast education library.

If you are looking for a different fundraising idea they offer butterfly, praying mantis kits for the spring or pre-order popcorn and cotton candy in a variety of flavours made in store year round.

They also offer some fun options for special events, like weddings or birthdays, like a full candy bar. Also, they'll raise butterflies to release to commemorate a special occasion, such as a bride walking down the aisle.
