I’ve always loved thrifting, but lately it’s become something more — a way to be creative, to try something new, and to remind myself that beautiful things can come from unexpected places.

Introducing The Vintage Tier - thrifted teacup sets and plates made into something new, fun and whimsical.

These can be used to hold jewelry or flowers in the tea cup and treats on the tray below. Really the possibilities are endless and I will have lots of beautiful choices.

I’m excited (and a little nervous) to share these at the 10th Annual Back Alley Tour tomorrow in Melfort, 2–8 PM.

With close to 60 vendors and music all day, there will lots to see so come down and check it out.

Sewology has been on my to do list to make since it came out a few years back. is one of my favorite pattern designers. Easy to follow and fun to make. Never disappointed.

Was able to use fabric I already had only having to purchase the background.

Super fun to make and once it’s quilted I will be keeping it for myself.

Finished up this one last night. Funny how some get finished really quickly and others take years. This one is too stink...

Another great pattern by Elizabeth Hartman. Definitely one of my favorite pattern designers.

Swatch Watches hold a special place in my heart from childhood. Way back to when a watch was just a watch and did not do anything more for you than you the tell time.

Such simpler times.

This one is definitely going into my couch quilt rotation.
