They opened their doors on November 12th and have been proudly serving the community since.

Thursdays: 8:30am–7:00pm

The Land Registration Office is also open Monday–Friday from 8:30am–4:30pm at the same location.

Chief Terry Appointed to Canada's Major Projects Office Indigenous Advisory Council ✨

Chief Terry will sit on the Indigenous Advisory Council for Prime Minister Mark Carney's Major Projects Office. This office will determine the major development projects across Canada. These projects will have a long-lasting impact on the future of Canada's economic strength.

The Indigenous Advisory Council will provide Indigenous leadership and inclusion to the Major Projects Office.

Congratulations Chief Terry, we know our region will be well represented with you at the table.

Today, we're thrilled to celebrate the official grand opening of both McDonald's Canada and the first Petro-Canada Orangestore in Nova Scotia, right here at Seventh Exchange in Membertou!

This new addition is a significant milestone for our community, and we were honoured to have Membertou Chief and CEO, Chief Terrance Paul, North Sun Energy President, David Button, and McDonald’s Area Supervisor, Justin Kennerknecht, join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.

Thank you to MP, Jaime Battiste, MLA, Derek Mombourquette and Deputy Mayor, James Edward's for helping us celebrate this morning.

We’re excited to welcome McDonalds and Orangestore to Seventh Exchange and look forward to all the great things to come!

If you have driven by Seventh Exchange, you may have noticed construction is in full swing with two incredible developments underway.

We're thrilled to announce a fantastic partnership with North Sun Energy and McDonald's to bring you a brand new gas bar and McDonald's! Complete with a standalone car wash, this spot is set to be your go-to pit stop right off Highway 125 at Exit 7A. Get ready to fuel up and grab a bite because we're gearing up for an opening in June 2024. 🍔⛽️

But wait, there's more! Membertou is embarking on its biggest commercial venture yet - a stunning 5-storey building set to house public service organizations and commercial tenants. Teaming up with Dora Construction, we're proud to pioneer the first mass timber build of its kind in the region. Stay tuned for updates on the fantastic businesses set to call this space home (95% of the commercial space is already committed). Mark your calendars for the grand opening in August 2025. 💼🌆

Green Diamond is your maritime John Deere dealer and carries high-quality products to accommodate all of your property maintenance products. Have you driven down Hwy 125 in the past week? If so, you have probably noticed our newly minted sign standing proudly at the top of Exit 7A.

Thank you to for constructing our nearly 63-foot pylon sign, the perfect structure to welcome the world to Seventh Exchange.

This sign represents the next step of our exciting project. With the Green Diamond building receiving its finishing touches, and several builds on the horizon, we are seeing our dreams of a retail district in Membertou becoming a reality before our eyes, and we can't wait to share it with you as it unfolds.
