Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the wildfires and evacuations throughout British Columbia. We know how frightening and stressful it is to leave your home without knowing what comes next.

If you have been evacuated and are in Merritt, you are welcome to stop by Rockin’ River Hair Salon and Hometown Treasures during business hours for:

📱 Help finding current evacuation information and available support

There is absolutely no purchase necessary. This is simply our way of helping during a difficult time.

We want to acknowledge the difficult conditions caused by the wildfires and heavy smoke. Our thoughts are with everyone who has been evacuated, displaced or affected.

To help during this challenging time, Hometown Treasures and Rockin’ River Hair Salon are offering all fire evacuees 15% OFF their purchases.

Please take care of yourself and others:

• Keep windows and doors closed when possible.
• Use an air purifier or a good-quality furnace filter.
• Limit outdoor activities and heavy exercise.
• Wear a well-fitting N95, KN95 or KF94 mask if you must go outside.
• Check on seniors, children and anyone with breathing or heart conditions.
• If it is extremely hot, keeping cool is the priority.
