Our friends, and Vancouver Island's own, Tyler Turner and his wife Kayleen at yesterday's seeding runs. He qualified in first place! Competing in his second Paralympics in Cortina D'Ampezzo, Italy. Today he and the rest of compete in para boarder cross!

If you like his artwork on our snowboards and skis, you should see Karver Everson 's carvings! There are poles he has worked on in various places locally, and about to be one more!

The Town of Comox is proud to announce that Karver Everson — Pentlatch, K’ómoks band member and Kwakwaka’wakw artist and carver — has been selected to design and carve a Totem Pole for the Glacier View Roundabout at the top of Comox Hill.

The totem pole Karver will design and carve, and support through installation, will take approximately eight months to complete. A community celebration and official unveiling are being planned for the fall of 2026.
