New Resi-Pals hit the shelves this week and honestly… choosing a favourite feels impossible. But if I had to pick? Mine is definitely Milk Dud. A tiny cow that looks like it wandered through a puddle of spilled milk and decided to make it part of the aesthetic. 🥛🐄

🎨☀️ The Creative Club Summer Art Camp 2026 is officially open for registration! ☀️🎨

Calling all creative kids ages 5-12 for a summer packed with paint splatters, imagination, friendship, and hands-on fun! Every day is designed to spark creativity while giving kids the freedom to explore, create, and get gloriously messy.

🕘 Camp runs daily from 9am-4pm
👩‍🎨 Limited to only 6 young artists per day for a more personal and supportive creative experience

Here’s what to expect:
🖌 2-3 hands-on art projects every day
🌿 Stretching and movement breaks throughout the day
🍉 Lunch breaks at the waterfront park (weather dependent)
🚶 Mondays are outing days for extra adventure and inspiration
🎨 A welcoming space to create, experiment, and have FUN

Please dress for mess because glitter has a habit of following people home ✨

Good morning friends 🌤️

Quick update from the studio: I’ll be opening a bit late today while I wait for a repair person to come fix my washing machine. It’s been out of commission for almost two weeks now, and at this point I’m basically emotionally attached to the idea of clean laundry 😅 Who knew it could feel like such a luxury?

In the meantime, I wanted to share a little preview of what’s been coming in for our Supply Swap happening June 28!

We’re collecting all kinds of gently loved crafting supplies right now until June 27. Think yarn, fabric, paper goods, beads, tools, trims, and all those “I swear I’ll use it one day” treasures that deserve a second life ✂️🧵✨

Drop-offs are welcome at the studio, and if you’re unable to get in, I’m also happy to arrange pick-ups for supplies—just reach out to coordinate a time with me first so we can plan it properly 💛

🎨 PA Day Art Camp – June 5 | 9AM–4PM | $75🎨

A full day designed for young artists to explore creativity, build confidence, and enjoy a fun, supportive studio environment. The day includes hands-on creative time, group activities, outdoor play at the waterfront (weather permitting), and relaxed free time to unwind and connect with others.

With small class sizes, each artist receives personalized attention in a calm and encouraging setting. I am CPR/First Aid certified to help ensure a safe and well-supervised experience throughout the day.

✨ Early drop-off and late pick-up can be accommodated for an additional fee.

💫 A great way to spend a PA Day making, moving, and creating in community!

Do you have crafting supplies you no longer use or need?
Are you hoarding bins of supplies because your brain wants to create everything, but life just doesn’t leave enough time anymore? Or maybe you’re looking to try a brand new craft without spending a fortune getting started?

Drop off your extra crafting supplies at Gathered and Made - the studio - and help give them a second creative life!

On Sunday, June 28 at 1PM we’ll be hosting a FREE Craft Supply Swap!

Bring what you can, take what you’ll use, and discover new creative treasures along the way.

A few simple rules:
• Please bring your own bags or bins for supplies
• Please don’t take everything to resell for profit
• Please leave some supplies for others to enjoy
• Be kind, respectful, and community minded

I’ll be accepting crafting donations between now and June 28 and sorting/storing everything until the event!

Life is expensive. Creativity shouldn’t have to be. 💛
This is a way for all of us to continue making, creating, and doing the things we love without the heavy overhead costs.

The Creative Commons is an inclusive, judgment free space where you can settle in, work on whatever project currently has your attention span in a chokehold, start something brand new, and connect with other creative humans who just get it.

Crochet, sketching, embroidery, writing, painting, unfinished projects living in tote bags since February… all are welcome here. ☕️

Tonight is our last meetup for the month of May, and we’d love to have you join us for an evening of creativity, conversation, and a little organized chaos.

Twist of events! 🌧️ The rain washed out all my photo sessions today, which means you’ll actually catch me at the studio on a Saturday! That almost never happens since I’m usually off at my other job while someone else holds down the fort here.

So stop in and say hi! Wander around, find something you absolutely didn’t know you needed, or just pull up a chair and hang out while I organize the chaos pile into slightly smaller chaos piles. 🧶✨
