The Mission Weavers and Spinners Guild is a community of fibre artists—from beginners just discovering the joy of fibre arts to experienced makers eager to share their knowledge.

We learn, create and connect through workshops, spinning and weaving classes, demonstrations and plenty of encouragement. From handspun yarn and woven treasures to unique gifts and one-of-a-kind clothing, there’s always something being made!

Stop by our booth at the Mission Renaissance Faire starting tomorrow, September 18 until Sunday September 20. Find us in the village of Sagely.

Our Reception is TODAY!

We would love to see you at the Fibres by the Fraser reception today at the Mission Arts Centre & Gallery, 33529 1st Avenue, Mission, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.

Many of the fibre artists will be there to share their work, talk about their creative process, and answer your questions. Come explore the exhibition, meet the artists, and celebrate the incredible talent and creativity of our guild members.

Our upcoming Fibres by the Fraser, Beyond the Familiar, art show celebrates creativity, curiosity, and the joy of trying something new.

Guild members challenged themselves to step beyond the familiar, exploring new techniques, materials, and fibre art processes to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. From traditional skills with a fresh twist to entirely new creative adventures, each work tells a story of learning and discovery.

Join us and be inspired by where curiosity can lead. We can’t wait to share these incredible creations with you!
