We are incredibly honoured to be nominated for Indigenous Woman Entrepreneur of the Year at the She & Success Business Awards 2026.

When we started Mashkiki Lifestyle & Co., our dream was never just to make candles. We wanted to create products that celebrate Indigenous culture, tell stories, and help people feel connected, comforted, and at home.

To be recognized alongside so many inspiring women is something we don’t take lightly. This nomination is a reflection of every customer, retailer, partner, and community member who has believed in us and supported our journey.

From two sisters with a dream to seeing our products on shelves across Canada—we are so grateful for how far we’ve come, and we’re just getting started.
