A pair of beautiful limited edition Hsienmo D-45 inspired guitars have arrived This is the D-45 Custom German Spruce/Cocobolo with a Solid 5A German Spruce top and Cocobolo back and sides. German spruce with its naturally blonde color and tight grain is well known for combining the warm balanced response of Sitka Spruce at low volume and the high headroom and powerful response to energetic strumming of Adirondack Spruce. Cocobolo is highly prized for its vivid color, dramatic figuring, and naturally oily, resonant nature, which gives it a powerful, almost “hi‑fi” presence with Powerful Bass, focused midrange, and brilliant trebles.
When combined together in an all gloss nitrocellulose dreadnought body, the German Spruce and Cocobolo create an instrument that is extremely responsive, powerful, and equally at home with soft nuanced fingerstyle and blazing flatpicked bluegrass runs thanks to its slim satin 1 piece mahogany neck with perfectly rounded semi-hemispherical frets securely attached to the with a cantilever semi-floating neck to ensure the perfect neck to body angle.
