Hi Lyn, Susan here! I would say the most fun I've had at work is working with Richard. You never know what he's going to say or do. He has a great sense of humour and makes coming to work a lot of fun.
Once, I was working with Nancy Bota one time, and she was selling a self-cleaning cat litter box and she was using, to demonstrate how it worked, pepperettes (cut into little pieces). The rake that cleans out the litter box got stuck and the motor kept pushing it to clean, or to move it forward. Finally the little rake let go and the little pepperettes flew across the studio. It was like cat poo flying all over the place! We had a good laugh over it.
Working with some guests is really fun! Like, Megan Maloney, who works with KitchenAid, has a wicked sense of humour, so we have a lot of fun during the shows and backstage.
And then there's some odd things that have happened - like being stabbed in my foot with a knife in the kitchen and not letting on that I HAD been stabbed while on air. Or falling off the fashion set, not realizing ther are two steps but still continuing to talk to the camera!
Too many to recall! Thanks for asking! Susan :)
