Every single day, flowers move in and out of our warehouses with logos like this one on the boxes. You could easily miss it if you didn’t know what it meant. It means that flowers were grown under, in this case, Rainforest Alliance certification. The grower is being recognized for taking steps to protect the environment, be sustainable in production practices and look after its greatest resource, its employees in the process. It’s what the customer in the florist doesn’t often see. That’s why Mex Y Can is showcasing all the amazing and innovative practices of the growers we consciously choose to work with. Over the coming days leading up to our Trade Show on September 10, we're going to give you some background information about some of the growers that they will be in attendance.

We start today with who are a leading Ecuador based grower of roses. Lots of roses!

They're doing lots of neat things in the eco-friendly and sustainability area. You'll have the chance to chat with representatives to learn more.
