We’re excited to announce one of our Vocal students has made it into the final 20 for the upcoming Blooming Voices contest! Congrats to AUDREY REID!

Also, students from last year’s summer camp band UFO have a song entered into the Song Contest for a chance to win $3k in funding!

And on top of all this, we’ve got our very own opening the show at the Rose theatre in Brampton on July 24th!!

make sure to get your tickets ASAP to show your support for all the amazing talent coming out of our shop! We can’t wait to see you all there🙌🏽

Late mother’s day post and this one’s a special one because of how much this moment meant to me. Most people don’t know i’m completely self taught and never had music lessons or instruments provided to me growing up. In fact, the immigrant grind and hard working nature of non artistic parents didn’t allow for me to realize my own gifts until I left home and discovered who i really was in university. Yet i’ve never let that dim my light and love that i share with every person young or old when they come to my shop for anything music related. In fact, I have been shining my light brighter than ever before and cannot wait for our community to grow with all the amazing creatives we’re fostering daily.

Over the last 15 years of teaching and 8 years of owning this shop, I have had the blessing to teach and mentor so many people from every age group, social class, disability etc u can imagine, but i never have really got to share this feeling with my own creators. Let this be a reminder to you, that it’s never too late to start and share the love and passion that only music can bring.

Next up, i gotta get my dad on the guitar and vocals. Neither of my parents have ever played an instrument or pursued the arts in their life so i think it’s about time they give it a shot don’t you? ❤️🖤

Check out this Epiphone SG bass with a broken neck that was brought back to life by one of our skilled techs. Believe it or not, this bass is actually stronger & playing better than it was before the break because of the way a lot of the entry-level guitars and basses are manufactured at factories.
