Thank you to Art is the heartbeat of the community , & the very talented Sarah Greenwood for hosting this fun clay art class! We had so much fun crafting our own clay lighter cases!

The hardest part was choosing which inspiration to follow! This time around decided to take a break from mushrooms, and make something mermaid inspired! ๐Ÿงœโ€โ™€๏ธโœจ

This Thursday, they are hosting UV painting! ๐Ÿคฉ Check them out before tickets are gone!

โœจ A little piece of my work is currently on display at OCAD University! โœจ
My beaded stick, beaded mushroom, and loom piece inspired by the Northern Lights. They were all created for my Materials & Methods class with Dion Fletcher. ๐ŸŒŒ๐Ÿงต๐Ÿ„
This class was such an amazing experience, and Iโ€™m so grateful to have had such an awesome professor who encouraged us, taught us new techniques, and push our ideas in new directions. ๐Ÿค
You can find all three pieces on the 6th floor of the main OCAD building! If youโ€™re around campus, go take a look before the exhibition comes down. ๐Ÿฅนโœจ

What an amazing day at the Homer Watson Art Fair! ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ’—
It was so wonderful getting to meet so many new people, chat about art, share my work, and see all the support and excitement throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who stopped by my table, took a look at my work, asked questions, made a purchase, or simply said hello โ€” it truly meant so much to me. ๐Ÿฅน
This was my first art fair, and I couldnโ€™t have asked for a better experience. Iโ€™m so grateful I got to be part of it and share a little piece of my art with all of you.
Thank you to the Homer Watson Gallery for putting together such a lovely event, and to everyone who came out to support local artists! ๐Ÿ’•โœจ

Iโ€™ll have a little bit of everything with me, including:

These two were made specially for my dad, one for his chilli peppers ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ and one for his tomatoes. ๐Ÿ… I had so much fun making these little garden markers and love the idea of giving plants their own tiny, personalized signs!

This beach-inspired polymer clay lighter case was SO much fun to make! ๐Ÿฉตโœจ Iโ€™m obsessed with the little starfish, shells, and ocean details. ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿš

Beaded Stick ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿชต
A little project from my beadwork class this spring! I was assigned to use a tubular stitch to bead around a stick, and I had way too much fun with it. ๐ŸŒˆ
I absolutely love beading, thereโ€™s something so meditative about sitting down, slowing down, and adding one tiny bead at a time.
I actually finished this while visiting my mom, where the family dog was deeply offended that I would not let her play with the very exciting stick.
Apparently, she did not understand that this was art, not a chew toy.๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿถ

Iโ€™ve loved experimenting with all the different shapes, colours, textures, and techniques throughout this collection and Iโ€™m definitely not done making mushrooms yet. ๐Ÿ„โœจ
Now I want to knowโ€ฆ would anyone be interested in making their own mushroom jar as a workshop? ๐Ÿ‘€
You could create your own shape, colours, and spots and leave with your very own little mushroom jar!
