We get asked about cacao powder all the time. Now, we're finally putting it on the shelf.

Our new Honduras 🇭🇳 Single-Origin Cacao Powder comes from the same fine-flavour cacao we use for our Honduras chocolate. At origin, the beans are carefully fermented, roasted, ground into cacao liquor, and pressed to separate the cacao butter from the cacao solids.

The result is a natural, non-alkalized cacao powder with remarkable aroma and character—100% traceable from origin to bag.

Expressive and deeply aromatic, it tastes unmistakably of cacao rather than simply "chocolate," and is equally at home in brownies, cakes, hot chocolate, ice cream, anywhere cacao belongs.

Yes, that's right. Rick Larouere.
Last week, we had a very special visit from Rick and his wife, Mary McClurkin, who made the trip from Ohio to see us.

How did they discover our little chocolate shop in New Brunswick?
Their grandson came across LaRouère Chocolat online. After all, it's not every day you stumble upon a business that shares your unique family name.

So, Rick and Mary decided to make the trip to Moncton and introduce themselves. Robin and I spent a wonderful evening sharing stories and enjoying the delightful coincidence that brought us together.

A chocolate shop named LaRouère meeting a Larouere family from Ohio wasn't something we ever expected, but we're certainly glad it happened.

Thank you, Rick and Mary, for making the journey. It was a genuine pleasure meeting you both.

If you've spent time in Germany, you've probably had the pleasure. Rhabarberschorle is everywhere. A Rhabarberschorle is basically rhubarb spritzer— tart, mildly, sweet, massively refreshing.
Easy to drink. Slightly harder to pronounce.
