⚠️LONG POST ALERT ⚠️
😱Wow! What can I say! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has stopped by in the last week to support the transition into this new chapter!
😁Special SHOUTOUT to my artisans who have supported the shop over the years. A few tears may have been shed, and your kind words were much appreciated 😊
😏Today, I said goodbye to this space. As I was driving home from the shop yesterday, I was reflecting on the past almost 3 years in the space.
🛍Purchasing Pigeons was a HUGE deal for me. I made a decision to be brave and try something I've always wanted to try, being a small business owner.
Pigeons Montague was a place to visit with people, is was a safe space, a place where I've made lasting friendships, found my girl Diamond, shared and celebrated lots of wins and made it through many struggles.
🙃I will definitely miss the visits, the hugs, the tears, and the joy and laughter shared with friends and customers. Hearing about how hockey and soccer games ended up, what birthday plans are in the works, weekend plans to go to Bogside or see live music, house renovations, next big project, collaborating with other small businesses and what creative cool artisan things were up and coming. I got an opportunity to explore my creative side as well.
🫶Pigeons wasn't just a retail shop, it was a way for me to contribute to the community, share stories with people, and to truly connect with people. To learn what drives them, what brings them joy, what struggles they may have and mine too. It was the true meaning of a FAMILY business. I will definitely miss that. 🫶
😁We WILL be seeing you all again! We have plans to attend some markets and a few pop ups over the coming months. Our online store will be revamped over the next month, and I can't wait to share it all with you! (HINT: Lots of your favs and artisan items too 😉).
Exciting things to come!!! Stay tuned.
