I usually keep my jewelry understated. I want it to be easy to wear, not something that stays in the box wearing for the special occasions.

Sometimes you want more than "just a nice pair of earrings ".
Not something flashy. Not something you'll wear once and then forget about.
These garnet earrings have a little more character - textured gold leaves, deep red garnets, and enough length to make a simple outfit finished.
They work just as well with a dark sweater as they do with something a little dressier.

I knew what I wanted to do with these golden flowers when I ordered them - pair them with an amethyst drops.

Once the beads arrived these earrings came together pretty quickly. Sometimes you already know the combination before you start.

I almost didn't buy these dragons.

They weren't my style at all.

The only reason I took them was their gunmetal finish - something surprisingly difficult to find.

I thought they would become a bracelet.

When I started designing the necklace, I tried to use the same tiny dragons there too. But it didn't work. They kept turning, and the design never felt right.

So instead of forcing the idea I changed it.

That's when the dragon pendant found its place and Mother of Dragons was born.

This necklace never made it to Instagram.

It stayed behind the scenes for months, and when I finally brought it to an event, it founds it's owner the very same day.
I am glad I still have these photos.
