For this project I took a top of an old coffee table and felt like doing something completely different. For some reason this coffee table top was digging a more industrial vibe so I grabbed some pipes from the renovation store and this is the result!

The top is white washed pine with a coal black contour from fusion mineral paint.

Sneak peak to (hopefully) a new reveal this week. The idea behind this project is what sold us (mainly Chris) on this house - that and Chris being able to stand without crouching in the whole house. Doesn't seem like a tall order (pun intended) but definitely makes life easier when you're closer to 7' then 6' 😂

Probably my favourite piece in the house so far, and it cost me under $100 to do compared to the $329.99 on wayfair.

All you need is a basket that you love and has some cracks that light can peak through - we got this one from and a string light from . Drill a small hole in the bottom centre and fish the light through and voila! Totally unique basket pendant light 😍😍

Switching up the furniture refurbishing to a different kind of flip! We bought our house just over 2 years ago and we’ve slowly been renovating it (key word being slow) but we’ve finally got one corner finished and almost decorated to the way we (read I) like!!

Everything we’ve done is on a budget, and done our selves and I’ve sourced 99% of our furniture online, or from hand me downs. Stay tuned for the the process!

I kinda really want a plant corner after staging this chair! Never thought those words would ever come out of my mouth 😅

This chair was a beautiful find from a friends basement. It’s got such an interesting texture, and the Chateau paint from fusion mineral paint suited it beautifully!

Finally back!
It’s been busy with school and work and honestly I’ve just been frustrated because some recent projects just haven’t turned out the way I’ve wanted them to. Chalking it up to learning experiences and will be chipping away at them slowly!

I found this MCM dresser for free on a give away page and couldn’t help myself. It was so cool and I’ve been looking for a piece like this one! It’s corner was destroyed but with a little bit of TLC (and a lot of swearing 🤬 on my part) we got it fixed!!
