An unforgettable night at Le 5252 Clubhouse🇨🇦

A full house for the one and only Michael Matthews - aka Bling💎

Hearing him open up about the highs, the lows, the grit and the real sacrifices it takes to stay at the very top of professional cycling on and off the bike was nothing short of powerful.

From hilarious behind-the-scenes anecdotes to raw, honest moments about life in the peloton, it was a masterclass in resilience.

For us, this evening hit especially close to home. Bling’s journey with Giant Bicycles began all the way back in 2017, and he has been a core part of our Giant family ever since.

The fact that year after year, he continues to give back to our Montreal community is a true privilege.

Michael Matthews your resilience, unmatched determination, love for your family and incredible mental strength continues to inspire us all.

Your presence makes Montreal shine and vibrate with a whole different kind of energy.

Thank you for your openness, your authenticity and for always connecting so deeply with your forever fans. We are endlessly proud to be part of your story.

Fastest run segment ✅
Fastest bike segment ✅

It was a phenomenal day in Nice for Kristian Blummenfelt and Gustav Iden , who went on to finish 2nd and 4th in the IRONMAN Triathlon 70.3 World Championships 💪

Each athlete grabbed segment best times throughout the day, with Gustav flying to the fastest bike split on his Trinity Advanced SL equipped with CADEX Cycling Aero WheelSystems, with a time of 2:16:43. Kristian, who was also on his new Trinity Advanced SL, used the bike to keep the legs fresh before he dropped the hammer in the run, clocking in a new IRONMAN 70.3 world best with a 1:05:12 to go from 16th to 2nd 💨

You’re in Montreal? You haven’t seen the autographed Propel that Kristian rode and signed in 2023? Come visit our boutique at the 5252 to take a look at this masterpiece in our museum.
