Péridots arent often found as large crystals so that’s why large peridot gemstones can be quite pricey compared to the smaller ones. The green is due to the presence of iron (Fe) and it is the August birthstone. Lucky August babies!

Look at these tiny microbeads gemstone bracelets with sterling silver clasps. We have made so many different ones:, topaz, tanzanite, spinel, sapphire, garnet, amethyst, jade and lapis. We also have emerald, ruby and aquamarine. I like to wear two together.

Meditation works for me and it’s even better if I hold a crystal in my hand or a crystal ball. I feel it gives me more focus for the day. Did anyone see the article about the chimpanzees being given quartz crystals amongst other stones and they would not give them back even when tempted with food!

Malachites are a fairly soft stone at 3.5-4 on the Mohs scale but everyone is unique with its banding. The colour is due to the presence of copper. If you like green this is a stone for you!

Here we have two pink gemstones: Rhodochrosite (pinker) and rose quartz. Both due their colour to impurities of manganese. Rose Quartz is harder at 7 on the Mohs square whilst rhodochrosite is only 3.5 to 4. Which one do you prefer? These rhodochrosites come from Argentina and the rose quartz is from Madagascar. These gemstones are said to represent love and harmony.
