We are proud to partner with Metropolis Bleu - Blue Metropolis this Spring to present Madeleine Thien, the critically acclaimed author for her new major novel, The Book of Records.

→ Inspired by the lives and work of the 20th c. political thinker Hannah Arendt, the 17th c. Dutch philosopher, Baruch Spinoza, and the 8th c. Chinese poet Du Fu, Madeleine Thien weaves a multilayered story of migration and impermanence. Exploring experiences across continents and centuries with her characteristic ambition and unique poetic voice.
