Standard turnaround for instrument minor repairs [pickup replacement, electronic rewiring, nut/saddle replacement] is 1 to 2 weeks. 4-5 weeks (for setups). Turnaround time for major repairs may vary between 1 to 2 months [headstock repair, re-fret, bridge replacement] to two months and up for major salvage, custom build, or restoration projects. SETUP SPECIFICATIONS:
Regular use and abuse as well as temperature shifts affect each instrument and in turn require necessary maintenance and adjustments. Every brand and model of instrument has its own set of unique specific factory specifications according to design and the components used in its fabrication. In general terms, instrument setups are based on a combination of original factory specifications, actual instrument condition and/or modifications, and average acceptable standards. Every attempt is made to attain maximum comfort, playability and reliability. That being said, certain brands of instruments are known to have lower neck and bridge profiles in their overall construction designs than others. Not every instrument can, nor should, attain these preset standards. REPLACEMENT PARTS:
Whenever possible, only genuine stock replacement parts are used. In the event that original factory parts are not available, suitable high quality aftermarket parts will be substituted. In the case of vintage instruments, every effort is made to obtain age specific parts from various vintage part suppliers. In major restoration projects, a combination of sourced vintage parts and quality retro-reproduction parts are utilized. Genuine factory, vintage, and quality aftermarket parts are held in stock and are available for purchase.
