This item is structurally sound with no chips, cracks, or flea bites to the glass body. Cosmetically, there are a few very small flecks of paint loss on the reverse-painted underside from gentle previous display. This is a very common characteristic of hand-painted art glass. When displayed face-up on a tabletop or wall, these tiny spots are highly inconspicuous and do not diminish the overall breathtaking visual of the teal and gold spiral vortex pattern.

Yes, there is metallic gold lining intricately woven into the pattern of this exact bowl. [1] However, because of how it is manufactured and how it interacts with light, it can occasionally look like it is missing or faint from certain angles: Hand-Painted on the Back: The entire metallic gold and turquoise pattern is applied to the underside (the back) of the clear glass bowl. When you look down into the bowl from the front, you are viewing the paint through the thick layer of textured glass.
Lighting and Background Reflections: In some of the photos, the bowl is resting on a light peach or cream-colored surface. Because the center ring of the bowl is left clear/silver to create a "sunburst" light effect, the gold outline around the inner rings blends directly into the pale background color beneath it.
How to Verify It: The bowl was picked up and turned over to look directly at the raw paint on the bottom, and it was place against a stark black or dark wood background, the metallic gold outlines tracing each "feather" will instantly pop and catch the light.
