Gundam TCG Friday nights are officially happening at Operation V Studio! 🔥

The first Local Play Night brought serious energy into the studio. Thank you to everyone who came out, played, built, and supported the event.

With that kind of support, we're making it official:

🎴 Gundam TCG Local Play
📅 Every Friday
🕕 6–8 PM

TCG players and model builders are both welcome. Come play, bring a kit, check out the displays, or just hang out with the community.

Ready to play the Gundam Card Game in Montréal? 🎴🤖

Gundam TCG Local Play Night is happening at Operation V Studio!

📅 Friday, September 25
🕕 6–8 PM
🎟️ $10 entry

This is a casual local-play night—not a tournament. Come play some games, try the Gundam Card Game, meet other local players, or simply stop by and see what it’s about.

The entire entry-fee pool goes into the raffle, so more players means more prizes drawn.

Bring your deck—or just come check it out. New and experienced players are welcome. Who’s joining us?

You don’t need Newtype powers to know this one’s going to be popular. 👀

Want the new RG 1/144 Gundam Ground Type without seeing “Out of Stock” when it releases?

You can now reserve upcoming kits directly through the Operation V Studio online store. Your preorder will be locked in before the kit arrives.

It’s simple:

1. Click Preorders on our online store.
2. Check the available kits and their closing dates.
3. Add the kits you want to your cart.
4. Check out normally.
5. Choose in-store pickup or shipping.

A few builders had already started asking me to reserve upcoming kits for them—so even while travelling in Iceland with my family, I had to get this feature running! 😂

Check out the Preorders page now and lock in the kits you absolutely don’t want to miss.

Pick your kit. Build something bold. Bring it to the studio. 🔥

The Operation V Competition Team is looking for builders ready to push themselves and try something new.

And yes—we’re taking this competition seriously: your actual build, judged on-site, with the community there to see what you created.

You don’t need to be the “best” to participate. Enter to challenge yourself, show your style, learn from other builders, and let everyone see what you built.

Are you in? Comment with the kit you’d enter—or tag a builder who should compete. 👇

1st AND 2nd place. Same builder. 🏆🏆

Carlos swept the Large Scale category at Otakuthon.

If you’ve seen his work, you probably recognize his style: heavy weathering, battle-worn finishes, detailed dioramas, and builds with a personality of their own.

And he doesn’t just build—he shares. Carlos hosted a weathering panel at Otakuthon and is interested in doing more weathering and build workshops with us at the studio.

That’s the “With Builders” energy we love seeing in this community. ❤️

Carlos, congratulations again on taking both 1st and 2nd place!

He may just be Montréal’s top weathering builder.

Do you have a weathered build that can challenge Carlos? Post it in the comments—we want to see it.

Thank you, builders. ❤️

Our Summer Build Night Party was something special.

Regulars, new faces, first-time builders, old friends, volunteers, people travelling from far away, and builders meeting each other for the first time.

We ran out of seats. Some of you brought your own chairs. Some of you even left the chairs with us. 😂

And somehow, a few of us made it all the way to 3:38 AM.

We also recently passed 1,000 followers on Instagram, almost entirely here in Montréal. Thank you for supporting Operation V Studio in whatever way you're comfortable with and for bringing your own energy into this space.

**By builders. For builders. With builders.**

If you haven't visited us yet, come build with us sometime.

Tell us in the comments: **what would you like to see happen next at the studio?**
