After thirty five years of life in fly fishing, and fly tying, I have finally given birth to my dream of Heritage Fly Fishing - a store that provides an avenue for me to 'pass on' the education and appreciation I have developed for this soul-enhancing sanctuary. I started with fly tying, and over the years have developed a new outlook on what the sport offers beyond traditional fishing. While traditional fishing allows you to catch a fish; fly fishing gives you a new life through therapy, conservation, and tradition.

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all enjoyed this weekend getting out and enjoying the many streams and rivers that our Quinte region offers for all the pleasures of fly fishing. We are privileged to have wonderful populations of sport fish in our area. Remember, catch and release anything that is not in season.
Yesterday, Sunday, April 14 a group of fly fishing enthusiasts joined me at the Loyalist College Campus to enjoy an afternoon of learning about each other's experiences in the sport, and to practice tying a new fly pattern, 'The Slumpbuster'. So happy to see old friends come out as well as a few new to the sport. We will be holding more of these seminars on a regular basis, so watch this page for updates. Many thanks to Loyalist College for providing such a beautiful room for our meetings. We will be able to watch instructional videos on a large screen as part of our seminars. SUNDAY APRIL 14, AT LOYALIST COLLEGE.
Here are the details: Meeting time: 1:00 pm
Meeting place: Room 3H28 in the Skills Building
Directions to Room: Enter through Skills entrance - go up the stairs to the 3rd floor, follow the room numbers as posted until you reach Romm 3H28
Parking is in lot P6 closest to the Skills Entrance.
There is no charge for parking.
