Cooler waters is allowing those big Walleye into the shallows. Forget the deep water drop offs with high fishing pressure and look for w**d edges in as close as 3 feet in depth. The snow signifies an opportunity to land more fish as they are fattening up for winter. The weather is cool but the fishing will be hot.

Beautiful Waskesui Lake! Walleye averaged 4.5lbs and we managed a 15lb Pike to boot!!

Hey Folks,

The warm weather is driving those big Pike a little deeper. To catch them try fishing at 15-20' deep with a slow retrieve (1.9 MPH). We have had great fishing with 37 Pike from 5-12 pounds and managing an 18lb 6 ounce toothy giant to boot in only 4 hours. Savage Gear 3D lures have been our ticket to turn those follows in hard fighting battles.

If you haven't tried the 3D Burbot lure from Savage Gear your missing out. 37 Pike in 4 hours with the smallest being a 5 lb scrapper. Heavy to cast but a great lure to cover water with while trolling.

Lac St. Anne is alive and well. Caught some beautiful Walleye and a couple of scrappy Pike.
