I’ll never forget the time when I was two weeks postpartum and thought I could pick up a few things from the grocery store with my newborn after dropping my toddler off at daycare. It was going so well (he was sleeping 😅) until it wasn’t…

Listening to my tiny little baby scream hysterically at checkout, I felt anxious and awful (for him, for the people around me, for myself 🫠).

And then this stranger in line behind me, who had the most beautiful heart, offered to pack up my groceries for me so that I could tend to my sweet (and very loud) baby, and then she brought them out to my car for me 😭 Cue the tears. We bonded over motherhood on our walk to the car - she was a seasoned vet with two kids much older than mine. And when we got to my car, I asked for her name and asked if I could hug her lol.

Shannon, I’ll never forget you 🤍

Let’s all be a Shannon to someone today, tomorrow and every day. Because Lord knows we all need a Shannon.

With the holidays just around the corner, I know there will be more toys coming into the house and more visitors coming over, too! These pretty rope baskets are my favourite way to keep my house looking tidy and organized, when most of the time it feels like an absolute gongshow 💁🏼‍♀️

TIP: You can throw whatever you want into the baskets, just make sure the thing(s) at the very top look aesthetically pleasing and you’re good to go 😅
