A little update from Next Level Audio.
You may have seen our Closing Out Sale announcement earlier today, and I wanted to share a little more about what that means.
After a dozen years, a lot of projects, and more hours spent chasing the perfect sound than I could possibly count, I've decided it's time to bring this chapter of Next Level Audio to a close.
For me, this business was never really about putting speakers into things. It was about sound.
Every vehicle, boat, room and space presents a different challenge. Figuring out how sound moves through that environment, how to shape it, and how to create an experience specifically for the person who's going to be listening to it - that's the part of this work I've always loved.
And I've been incredibly fortunate to spend so many years doing exactly that.
We're not disappearing tomorrow. We'll be spending the next while finishing the projects we've already committed to, clearing out our remaining inventory, and getting everything properly wrapped up.
Once that's done, Next Level Audio will no longer be open to the public.
I'm not walking away from audio. I don't think I could if I tried. There will still be projects that catch my attention and things I want to create, but they'll happen privately and outside of the traditional retail business.
To everyone who trusted us with a project, came back for the next one, challenged us with something unusual, recommended us to a friend, or simply supported what we were doing - thank you.
You gave me the opportunity to spend a huge part of my life practicing a craft I genuinely love.
That means a lot.
