Hmm - I think this is called a step card - but I bet the name is fancier than that:). It was fun to make.

From Patty Bennett who figured out what the dimensions are for the inside mat layer to the new Scalloped Christmas Cheer dies. Thanks, Patty!

Free Cutting Guide Resource:
As I made a recent project, I was figuring out the dimensions for a mat layer that fits inside the stitches on these amazing Scalloped Christmas Cheer dies. So I decided to create a resource guide for you so we don't have to keep measuring it each time!! :) I've added it to my Inspiration Sampler page on my blog, too.
Enjoy!

I’m loving all the fall products SU offers us right now. Just made this cool three box card with friends on Friday. Thanks, Carmen for teaching this one.

I think this is called an inverted flap card - I’ll have to look that up. Loved being able to use the new POM DSP - it is just stunning. Don’t forget to order it if you can. I also used the Lustrous Leaves hot foiling.

Another sample of the Triple Diamond Stepper card using now long-retired DSP. I really wanted to use Poppy Parade, and this fit.

Taught this card on line to a group of friends today - a Triple Decker Diamond card, template from Susan Campfield. Will show a few more in the next while.

The Botanical Glow Hot Foil bundle is a delight to work with in any colour, here in Pretty Peacock. I also used the Sweetly Sentimental bundle - a wonderful set of expressions that I expect to use extensively. The great thing about HF is that it stands out on any colour card stock.

The Hot Foil Classic Sentiments are perfect for the outside, or as shown here, the inside of a card. What I love is that you can add the foil to any colour card stock and it really pops.

On occasion I get or give lovely boxes of chocolate covered ginger candies and then decorate afterwards for future use. Some DSP, and Hot Foil magic with a birthday sentiment and voila - a gift box. I love the size of these new Classic sentiments. Do you repurpose boxes and bags?

Having fun learning about the Hot Foil system. So many possibilities! Endless, really!
