How about an early Tuesday post?!

Tomorrow is the last day for our fundraising for the new outdoor play space at the Child Development Centre! We are so close to our $1000 goal! Pop in and throw $5 in our love jar and it gets matched and then matched again! So your $5 = $20 towards the new playground!

We spent the day changing up for fall! Added pants, long sleeves, coats & boots!

We’ve also topped up Halloween items and costumes!

Happy Sunday! Tour De Rock just rolled through and we can’t be more proud of the riders and their journey!

They were one of our very first donations of $1000. Today during their ride, they stopped to thank us and presented us with a plaque.

Good Morning, Happy Saturday!

Did you know we have a partnership with Nanaimo Family Life Association? They have been supporting Nanaimo for over 50 years! Here is their mission!

"We’re a non-profit organization rooted in the community, helping individuals and families navigate housing challenges, mental health, and access to support programs. Whether you’re here for yourself or someone you love — we’re here to help"

We love this! Just Thrift is commited to impacting our community, and this partnership helps us to do that.

It also allows us to have Volunteers, which helps to support our 11 Paid Staff Members to better serve you and help us in our back room to proccess and support the progams that need it the most.

We just noticed that someone broke one of our front windows today 😢

You can see the impact point. If you were in the shop, and saw anything can you please let us know.

We have video footage that will be accessed by our property manager, but as a new business and even with glass coverage, it’s an expense we weren’t ready for yet.
