In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, our Centre hours today are 11am–5pm.

September 30th is a day to honour First Nations, Métis, and Inuit residential school survivors, their families, and their communities. We are listening, learning, and reflecting.

Nanaimo North Town Centre is located on the unceded and traditional lands of the Snuneymuxw First Nation.

To honour this important day, local Snuneymuxw artist Eliot White-Hill (Kwulasultun) created a dedicated artwork for us titled, “The Wolf and the Raven”.

“There is a renaissance taking place. This artwork honours that work and the people doing it; it honours all of the elders and ancestors who began it before us, and it honours the future generations who will continue it after us,” shares White-Hill.

We invite you to view Eliot White-Hill’s art triptych, on display in the Centre corridor near Kidz Toys.
