Its the only time of the year to work on outdoor mosaic, so here is the work in progress for this years addition.

We're filling in the background around the big ladybug, working on the lay out for the top corner. We built it on the table first before we install it in sections. The lower section was started a week ago and installed a few of days ago. We then did a tracing to guide us and its surprising how much larger the sections look on the table then they do on the wall. It can take several days to lay out so we hope the upper background will be going up after the stormy weather, and the whole section will be grouted and sealed before it becomes too cold to work for the year.

Come and check out our chili this Sunday. Nanton days chili cook-off starting at 1pm until all the chili pots are empty. Vote on your favorite!
While you're here, take in the street market, elevator tours and bomber command museum and a host of happenings all weekend!

Looks pretty official, according to mayor Jennifer Handley theres going to be a film crew coming to Nanton.
We're a tiny bit excited that our son might be seen in the background like is dad was many years ago!

Have you ever wished there was a bowling alley in Nanton?? You might see one soon, if only temporarily! Cascada's building facade is about to undergo some temporary modifications. You may see some new signage on our building, but rest assured, your accountants are not on "Strike!!"
