As the weather cools we start thinking about winter projects...pole harvest is a big one, as we cure roof poles for a year prior to building with them. Eric is a gung-ho pole harvester and papa, and is able to combine the jobs beautifully (says his main admirer :) ) (note little ember strapped to his chest)

We would like to offer a series of workshops in our yurt. Can you name your top four interests from the following list?

- friction fire (making fire with sticks): half day
- beginner wet felting: full day
- brain tanning deer hides: ~3-4 days
- willow basketry: ~ 2 days
- plant dyes: half day
- making huarache sandals with scrap leather and recycled rubber: half to full day
- kombucha and water kefir: half day
- brain tanning rabbit hides: full day
- goat processing workshop (form live goat to using it's parts): 2-3 days: half day
- sharpening knives: half day
