📢🧡 Orange Shirt Day began with the story of Phyllis Webstad, whose new orange shirt was taken from her on her first day at Residential School when she was just six years old.

Today, the orange shirt has become a powerful symbol of remembrance, truth, hope, and our shared responsibility to honour Survivors and remember the children who never returned home.

From orange shirts and pins to artwork carrying messages of healing, each symbol helps keep these stories visible.

▶️Learn about Phyllis’s story, the Orange Shirt Society, and the responsibility we all carry through our blog here: https://shopfirstnations.com/blog/where-you-can-buy-a-shirt-for-orange-shirt-day/

✨ Look at this! Shop First Nations is featured by Export Navigator as one of their success stories. ❤️

We are still very much on our growth journey, but looking back at how far we have come is pretty special. Export Navigator has played an important role in helping us create a clearer expansion strategy, identify the right markets, and feel more confident about growing Shop First Nations across Canada.

One of the biggest areas of growth has been corporate gifting, along with opportunities like our Canada Box, which features Indigenous makers from all 13 provinces and territories.

There is still lots of work ahead, but we are grateful for the guidance, expertise, and support from Export Navigator and our advisor, Shannan Roberts, as we continue building toward what comes next. ❤️

🫶🏽There’s a lot that happens before an order is complete.

From connecting with Indigenous makers and sourcing incredible products to carefully packing every order, we’re involved in every step of the process. Whether we’re creating corporate gifts, event gifts, or individual orders, our goal is always the same: to create something meaningful that people are excited to receive.

Every order supports Indigenous businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs across Canada, and we’re grateful to be part of that journey. ❤️
