In honour of Bad Bunny’s epic performance at Super Bowl LX today, I wanted to share some photos from my trip to Puerto Rico back in 2015. This trip was special in so many ways: I tasted the popular dish of Mofongo, took a mixology class at Bacardi, visited heritage sites and art museums, and spent many hours soaking up their glorious beaches. One of the highlights was visiting my first cacao plantation and tasting the pulp from a freshly-split cacao pod for the first time ever. What a beautiful culture, and beautiful message shared to all: “The only thing more powerful than hate is love”. ❤️🇵🇷
