New limited batch! Playing with texture as well as flavour here with a roasty hojicha tea from our friends at and some nutty Peruvian mocambo nibs via our friends at . Medium dark with Ecuadorian cacao from the Camino Verde fermentary, this bar is just a comforting blend of deep flavours.

From the Cocoaro Test Lab 🤓

I’m working on a new mint chocolate bar and I think I am almost there, but there are a few bars of my last test batch that I think are pretty good, but there aren’t enough to warrant getting a whole package. They are also not my final recipe, so I can’t add them back in when I make the full batch?

Did you want to try this minty theobroma blend? If so, they will be with me at the tomorrow morning! (Sunday, May 3, 9am-10pm, Dogwood Pavilion)

Sakura treat boxes! 🌸

1: Sakura coconut bonbons. Peru-Ecuador blend chocolate encasing a filling of coconut, maple sugar and salted cherry blossom petals

2: Sakura Kouhakutou box with sakura sencha, strawberry and sweet sakura tea crystal jellies. The strawberry and sweet sakura also have a cherry blossom encased in them.

Limited amounts at the at this weekend! The bonbons are also available on the shelf at the shop.

Come out this weekend to the Sakura Days Japan Fair at VanDusen Gardens! Lots of activities & food & performances in the beautiful garden setting.

Again, this year, I will be in the Floral Hall. This is just behind the Floral Stage by the parking lot and the activities and marketplace here are before the paid area! (Map is the second image)

The Sakura are blooming! And when their petals fall…

The seasonal Sakura Spring Blossom bar is back! 🌸 This year, the tea ground into the bar is a beautiful Sakura Sencha from and carefully inlaid with dried, salted cherry blossoms.

Yes, I will be attending the on April 11 & 12 at and will have them there with me! And they should be appearing on the shelf in the shop later this week.

Remember when I used to do this?

There are lots of practical reasons why I don’t make maple toasted chocolate coconut chips anymore, but for one day only, I will have them again at the this Sunday!

It wasn’t intended, but I ended up with the coconut, so here they are. Hope to see you at our local Sunday, March 29, 10am-2pm.

I feel late with my Easter treats, but they are rolling out, now!

Big bunny pairs filled with SB&J (sesame butter & jam) made with Japanese sesame paste, local raspberries and Okanagan honey!

Off the sugar? No problem! This year, I also have little rabbits truffles made with my Darkest Dreams Fig & Vanilla and some coconut oil to make them indulgently melty!
