Willie Nelson has spoken out against the construction of data centers across America, encouraging citizens to fight the proliferation of facilities that "only destroy the environment around them":

“The last thing we need is a loud, water thieving, light polluting, data center anywhere near our town (or any others for that matter),” he wrote. “The strength of rural America has never come from big industrial footprints. It comes from generations of people, open spaces, local business, and a connection to the land. All of America deserves thoughtful stewardship that doesn’t steal farmland (where our essential shared-food is grown) and small family farmers’ livelihoods, and not data centers that only destroy the environment around them.”

“Whoever controls food and water, controls the masses. Let’s not allow our own demise or give up control over necessary resources in the U.S. and especially in Abbott.”

Raccoon Skulls 🦋 Starting at $35 ⬇️

I cleaned these guys up myself and wasn’t able to get all of the moss/growth off of one of the skulls, hence the greening in the nose and sides of eyes.

The one on the left is fully bleached and the one on the right has minimal green remaining.

I have some of these guys left with a matte back unlike my own. The matte back is much better because it means any scratches won’t be visible throughout!

I have tons of cute little things in mine including crystals, sea glass, pinecones, shells, and even one of my cats teeth!

Today I found out that tumbling beach stones STINK, literally! 😅

I stopped these guys halfway through the first tumbling step to check on them, and these have to be my favourites so far.

I’m assuming that the first one is Quartz in Feldspar. The second I believe is Quartz with Iron Oxide inclusions (Golden Healer Quartz 🥹), and the last I honestly have no idea! Jasper? If you know what it is, feel free to let me know in the comments!

I figured it might be nice to post some more personal content like this. I’ve been tumbling stones for a while now, and there’s nothing more interesting than seeing a layer of something peel away to reveal a shiny gem!

Stay tuned to see how all these babies turn out.
